A week after two mass shootings in the Los Angeles area and Half Moon Bay, Calif., another shooting has claimed three lives and injured another four people in the Beverly Crest neighborhood of Los Angeles.

KNX reporter Nataly Tavidian joined KCBS Radio in San Francisco to discuss the tragedy Saturday.

“This is a pretty pristine area of L.A., up on a hill, big homes. Detectives are out here,” she said. “LAPD says that they received several 911 calls coming in at 2:30 a.m. this morning.”

Police said there was “some sort of party” going on where the shooting was reported. Out of the four people who were injured, two are in critical condition.

Tavidian said law enforcement confirmed that this isn’t an active shooter situation. As of Saturday afternoon, information about the shooter and suspects had not yet been revealed. Authorities were going door-to-door in an effort to find surveillance footage.
