Rochester, N.Y. - Monroe County Executive Adam Bello announced his plans for his re-election campaign on Saturday.
Bello was first elected as Monroe County Executive back in 2019, and is seeking his second term in office and looks to build on the reforms and progress his administration has brought to the County government.
“Monroe County is looking to the future for the first time in generations. My administration has been laser-focused on protecting and improving the lives of our residents, bettering our local economy, training our workforce and lessening the burden on our taxpayers,” said Bello. "I am proud of all that we have accomplished so far and am running for re-election to ensure we continue to build on the progress we have made together.”
“For far too long, County government was viewed as an obstacle to improving the lives of our residents. We’ve changed that narrative in just four years and have ushered in new opportunities for County government to help those we serve," Bello said.
Bello was joined in support by local leaders and elected officials, including Congressman Joe Morelle, New York State Assemblymember Harry Bronson, Rochester Mayor Malik Evans, and Monroe County Democratic Committee Chair Stephen DeVay.
