This Community Fashion Show is inspired by our Undressing History exhibit, the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula is excited to host History Head to Toe, a community fashion show, on Thursday, February 23rd from 5:30-7:30. This event celebrates the stories that our clothing tells, from the stories of historic figures to the stories of our everyday lives. Enjoy light refreshments and beverages while you mingle with those in costume and hear their stories. We encourage everyone to dress up and bring your own stories to share!
$15/person (FREE for Members): Tickets at https://events.humanitix.com/history-head-to-toe
Do your clothes have a story to tell? We are still looking for people to present their own historic outfits at our event. Historic costumes can be vintage, recreations, or even something that represents your modern history! Do you have a dress from your grandmother, the outfit you were wearing when your partner kissed you for the first time, or perhaps a suit you made to replicate the regency era? Any and all outfits are welcome as long as they have a story to tell about the people and times they represent. We are looking for people to model their own outfits.
