UPDATE: The Glenpool Police Department has released additional information concerning the death of 18-year-old Vladislav Soden.
Glenpool police say they attempted to stop the white Chevy Tahoe for traffic violations after an officer noticed it driving eastbound on 141st Street South at excessive speeds.
Police say the car was passing other drivers using the oncoming traffic lane.
Approximately three blocks after the pursuit began, the Tahoe crashed into a basketball goal and fence and continued into the back of a home at 139th and Hickory.
Police say one of the passengers was taken into custody but later released. The other passenger ran from the scene, according to GPD.
Those inside the home were reported uninjured during the incident.
