All this spend in marketing and team will have easily measurable results. Apparently Canyon sells a ton of bikes. But no one around me rides them. Lets see if that changes in the next 7 months. Not slamming Canyon. Just truly curious if there will be a direct impact in my local area.

If people are talking about it, if it's in major online publications, then the marketing is working, and sales will increase.

Wouldn't be surprised if they're still focusing on building the market area by area. Up here I remember already a few years back several people were riding Canyons, but they were seen by many as somewhat embarrassing instead of proper, cool bikes. Now there's more and more people riding them, but they're also a credible alternative (for most), I'd say largely thanks to being ridden by credible pros and cool teams like FMD as well.

I ride a spectral canyon and it seems like a fantastic machine. In Spain you can see many canyons and it's not because of the advertising, it's because of the price-quality ratio they offer.

i suspect living in RSA logistically its extremely expensive to get bikes there in a direct to consumer format without setting up a complete subsidiary (also expensive)

I wanted to take a moment and correct this error. I did some research, and found that technically, when “Y” starts a syllable, it’s considered a consonant. So it really would be CNYN, not CNN. But CNN is funnier.

I hope you learned something, or at least found this entertaining, thanks for riding with me today, don’t forget to like and subscribe.
