A young child and two police officers were among seven hurt in an East New York car crash Friday night.

Authorities say the police officers were attempting to make a traffic stop when they collided with another car carrying a 29-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman and a 6-year-old boy.

All three were taken to a hospital and are in stable condition.

Two people in a nearby parked car were also hit. They are currently in stable condition as well.

The two police officers were treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
