Auburn basketball score vs. West Virginia: Live updates as Tigers take on Mountaineers

AUBURN — Auburn basketball is aiming to score a win over West Virginia on Saturday.

After winning five straight games, the Tigers dropped one against Texas A&M in Neville Arena on Wednesday. Not only did the Aggies give Auburn (16-4, 6-2 SEC) its first loss in three weeks, but it was also the first time the Tigers lost at home since February 2021.

The Mountaineers are coming off a blowout win against Texas Tech on Wednesday. West Virginia (12-8, 2-6 B12) was up by five at halftime, but ran away with it in the second half for a 76-61 victory over the Red Raiders. Senior guard Joe Toussaint had 22 points off the bench.
