Props from “National Treasure: Edge of History” are now on display in Walt Disney Presents at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, replacing the “Disenchanted” costumes that have been displayed since November.

A plaque summarizes the plot of the series.

The fictionalized journal of Captain Meriweather Lewis is open to a sketch of his Newfoundland dog, Seaman.

This ocular device first appeared in “National Treasure.”

The characters assume it was invented by Benjamin Franklin.

It shows back up in “National Treasure: Edge of History” in the collection of Peter Sadusky.

In “National Treasure: Edge of History,” Jess Valenzuela is tracking down an indigenous treasure her father, Rafael, was hunting twenty years earlier.

His diary contains notes on Andean religions, maps of ancient Mexico, and sketches of glyphs.

Around the other side of the display are the sword and journal of Hernán Cortés.

The sword is a replica of the actual sword believed to have been used by the real-life Conquistador Hernán Cortés. The real sword is in the Royal Armory of Madrid, Spain.

The fictionalized journal contains entries by Cortés and the enslaved Nahua woman Malinche who served as his interpreter.

The Disney Wish exhibit is still open at Walt Disney Presents.
