The Stone Memorial High School Panthers and Lady Panthers traveled to Sparta Friday night for District games against the White County High School Warriors and the Warriorettes. White County took the girls game as they posted a 68-48 win over the Lady Panthers. In the final game of the night, the Panthers stayed unbeaten in District play as they raced by the Warriors 81-67. Tuesday, 1/31, SMHS will host Upperman, catch the action on Mix 99.3.
Cumberland County stepped outside the District on Friday with a road trip to Pickett County. The Lady Jets picked up a road win and the Jets fell to the Bobcats.
