Richarlison made a cheeky sign for his Brazilian pal and Tottenham team-mate Lucas Moura as he showed his support for the forward on his return for the club's Under 21s against north London rivals Arsenal.

Moura found the back of the net during the game and Richarlison was on the sidelines to cheer his friend on, holding up a banner reading: 'Lucas, could you give me your shirt?'.

Richarlison was supporting his team-mate with a woman, who held her own poster up which translated as: 'Lucas I came a long way just to see you. Can you take a picture with me?'

After the game, Moura posted a photo of him and Richarlison holding the signs up with the caption: 'Small gestures that make a difference. Thanks so much for the support bro. GOD bless you always!'

The 30-year-old winger has not featured for Spurs since their 4-3 win over Leeds in November and is destined to leave the club.

After facing a spell on the sidelines with a tendon injury, Moura returned to competitive action in style as he found the back of the net in a 2-1 victory for the Under 21 side.

Earlier this month, Sportsmail reported that Tottenham will not take up an option to extend Moura's contract at the end of the season.

Moura has made just 11 appearances for Antonio Conte's side this season, playing just 266 minutes of football.

His No 1 fan Richarlison had also been on the sidelines following a hamstring injury he picked up at the World Cup for Brazil.

However, the Spurs striker returned to action off the bench in the north London derby - and could lead the line for Conte against Preston in the FA Cup on Saturday, with Harry Kane a major doubt with illness.
