MORGANFIELD, Ky. (FOX 56) – Union County Emergency Management has confirmed James Nicholson has been found dead.

A Golden Alert has been issued for a Union County man, last seen in Morganfield.
James “Jim” Nicholson, 76, was last seen at his home on Shiloh Road between 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
Union County Emergency Management said Nicholson was last wearing a brown Carhart jacket and a brown sock hat. Authorities said he has dementia and does not have a cellphone.
His car is a silver 2016 Chevrolet Impala with a front license plate that says McCully’s in orange writing. The rear trunk has the outline of the state of Kentucky with the word McCully’s inside.
Authorities said Nicholson has ties to Benton, southern Illinois, and Evansville, Indiana. Anyone that lives a long Highway 60 from Morganfield to Benton or in areas near Evansville is asked to review surveillance cameras that may have picked up traffic footage between 5 p.m. and midnight.
