Prairie Village man receives 13-year prison sentence for DWI crash that killed MU Board of Curators student representative

Zachary Zorich was sentenced in Jackson County Friday for his involvement in a June 2022 crash at 75th and Ward Parkway.
Kansas City police investigators determined Zorich's vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed as it was approaching Ward Parkway. The vehicle ran a red light and struck the victim's vehicle.
Remington Williams, 26, was identified as the person killed that day.
Williams was a student representative on the University of Missouri's Board of Curators.
A DUI officer determined Zorich should be arrested for drunk driving.
