New year. New list.

The Business Observer is once again putting out a call for action for the Top 50 Contractors in the paper’s coverage area, which extends from Tampa to Naples and includes Polk County. Companies are ranked by gross annual revenue.

The company to beat this year is perennial leader Manhattan Construction Group. The Naples-based company was No. 1  on the 2022 Top 50 Contractors list, with $1.16 billion in revenue for 2021.

The issue will be published in March. It includes details about the biggest projects the Top 50 companies have been working on over the past year, as well as the most notable projects tucked away in each company’s portfolio.

Questions like who are the company’s principals, what does the company specialize in and how many employees work there will be answered in this special issue. Contractors across a variety of sectors will be featured, including general, masonry, roofing, landscape, HVAC, electrical, road, pool, plumbing and more.

To submit your company, visit BusinessObserver.wufoo.com/forms/business-observer-top-contractors-2023. Submissions are due by Wednesday, Feb. 15.

The Business Observer looks forward to receiving and reviewing Top Contractors submissions. Please email Business Observer Managing Editor Mark Gordon at [email protected] or Sarasota/Manatee Writer Amanda Postma at [email protected] with any questions.
