1/27/23 Body Found in Fox River in Green Lake County

The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office got a call shortly before 7 o’clock yesterday morning asking them to check the welfare of a Town of Princeton resident that lives on the Fox River. When deputies arrived they found the residence unoccupied and tracks leading to an area of broken ice and open water on the river. Princeton Fire and Rescue and EMS, and the Sheriff’s Drone Unit were paged and responded to the scene. Princeton Fire and Rescue using an underwater camera located a body in the river. The person was removed from the river and pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation continues.
