As Tom Brady continues to mull his playing future, more speculation surrounds the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, each and every day.

Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show on Friday, NFL insider Ian Rapoport of NFL Network was asked by the former Indianapolis Colts punter if he had any new information on the future Hall of Famer.

Rapoport didn’t have a substantial update to offer up on Brady, telling McAfee that “it was the same as the last time we spoke.” Though, in his reporting, the NFL insider did indicate that most people don’t believe that Brady will return to Tampa Bay, which would open the door for a new home for the 45-year-old.

“He has not committed to return, although most people think he’s going to be back,” Rapoport said via Pat McAfee on Twitter. “I would not be surprised if we have a Tom Brady free-agency situation.”

This comes from Rapoport just a week after he clarified Brady’s plans for the time being.

“Tom Brady plans to take some time away from football, step back, spend some time with his kids and really consider his options,” Rapoport said on NFL Network’s NFL GameDay this past Saturday. “His goal is to not make a decision immediately, come out of this with a clear head.”

If he does hit free agency, Rapoport mentioned last week that the Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, and maybe the San Francisco 49ers could all be potential landing spots, should Brady leave Tampa Bay this offseason.
