Police are investigating a string of robberies at fast food restaurants in Gates and Rochester.
Officers responded to Wendy's on Buffalo Road for a reported robbery around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. Police said a suspect pointed a gun at a drive-thru employee while a second suspect forcefully stole money.
Shortly after that incident, police learned of a similar incident, involving suspects that matched the same description, at Taco Bell on Lake Avenue in the city.
Police then responded to Taco Bell on Lyell Avenue in Gates around 11:45 p.m. for another reported robbery. A suspect allegedly reached through the drive-thru window and stole cash. Police said the suspects matched the other two robberies.
No injuries were reported. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 423-9300.
