The viewing for the mother killed in the mass shooting in Fort Pierce will take place Friday, Jan. 27. Nikkitia Bryant, 29, was a cosmetologist from Fort Pierce who was at the event with her 9-year-old daughter. According to her family, Bryant was standing at a food truck when she was shot in the abdomen. Her daughter saw it happen. The viewing is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. at St. Mark's Missionary Baptist Church located at 921 Orange Ave. in Fort Pierce. "'Hey, this is how life is, kid, get tough.' There's no way I can explain that. Like, she just experienced some real-deal stuff. That's tough, man."Seven other adults were shot, and four were injured during the chaos that ensued.
