Snow emergencies declared across Southeastern Wisconsin

SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Several snow emergencies have been declared across Southeastern Wisconsin ahead of anticipated winter weather.

Milwaukee

The City of Milwaukee has declared a snow emergency for this evening into Monday morning.

No parking will be allowed on the main streets from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

On the side streets, residents are to park on the ODD numbered side this evening.

Greenfield

A snow emergency has been declared for the City of Greenfield.

This in effect from midnight to Jan. 29 at 6 p.m.

Racine

A snow emergency has been issued for the City of Racine from 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 until 6:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2023. 

This means there shall be no parking permitted on either side of the city’s arterial and collector streets. Alternate side parking will be in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Vehicles parked in violation of these restrictions will be ticketed and subject to towing.

Mount Pleasant

A snow emergency has been declared in the Village of Mount Pleasant from 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 until 6 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 29.

No parking will be permitted on either side of the villages' cul de sacs. 

Alternate side parking will be in effect from 2 a.m.-6 a.m. 

Vehicles in violation will be ticketed and subject to towing.

Pleasant Prairie

The Village of Pleasant Prairie has announced that it has declared a snow emergency, beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, lasting until 12 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 29.

A snow emergency in Pleasant Prairie means that no parking is allowed on village streets, while a similar road parking prohibition will be enforced in Somers.

Somers

The Town of Somers has also declared a snow emergency starting at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, lasting until 7 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 30.
