Alviere, the embedded finance platform provider, is pleased to announce that Grupo Coppel, Mexico’s largest non-food retailer, has chosen Alviere “to enable the launch of Coppel Access, a mobile wallet that will provide millions of unbanked and underbanked consumers in the U.S. with easy access to digital financial services, with its industry leading embedded finance platform.”

Coppel Access, developed in partnership with Appriza Pay, Grupo Coppel’s U.S.-based subsidiary, will “offer consumers a range of financial services including mobile wallets, diverse payment services, physical and digital debit cards, and fast, convenient remittances to Mexico. Coppel Access, which offers FDIC-insured accounts, continues Grupo Coppel’s 80-year-old mission of improving its customers’ lives.”

Adrian Jaimes, CEO of Appriza Pay, said:

“The partnership with Alviere and the team’s breadth of experience and drive in the development and deployment of Coppel Access proved fundamentally critical and extremely valuable in successfully bringing Coppel Access to market so quickly.”

Alviere, the first embedded finance provider “fully licensed across all 50 states in the U.S., ensures compliance, robust reliability, flexibility, and long-term stability for its clients.”

Yuval Brisker, Co-founder and CEO of Alviere, said:

“Coppel Access is a prime example of how leading brands can bring financial services to their customers, becoming more central in their lives, and filling a need for the community. From inception, we built Alviere to support greater participation in banking where the largest organizations can serve their customers with the secure and comprehensive platform of financial products that we provide. We’re proud to be working with Coppel to make this dream a reality.”

Alviere partners with Community Federal Savings Bank “to provide FDIC-insured accounts, allowing Alviere clients immediate compliance in addition to the services provided with Alviere’s own licenses.”

The Coppel Access account and any financial services “related to the Coppel Access account services are provided by Mezu (NA), Inc. under Alviere as an agent and service provider of Community Federal Savings Bank, Member FDIC.”
