UPDATE:
According to police, a phone call to Daphne Middle School Friday morning around 10:15 warned of a bomb. Police say the call appeared to be made from a juvenile across the country. Police swept the school without finding anything.
They have found no connection with the caller and Daphne.
The school's SRO was first to know. Students were being evacuated when other responding officers arrived.
Authorities have been in touch with a guardian of the child alleged to have made the call.
Daphne Middle School has been cleared and students will return to class, according to Daphne PD:
The investigation is ongoing. An extensive search the school has been completed.

According to an email sent to parents of Daphne Middle School Students, the school has been evacuated due to an anonymous threat Friday morning.
Daphne Police also posted that they are investigating a threat at the school
We are currently investigating a threat at Daphne Middle School. All staff and students have been evacuated. Parents are urged not to respond to the school. Officers are diverting responding parents to Trione Park.
