Filming for the Hallmark movie "A Biltmore Christmas" continued Thursday, Jan. 26, with crews setting up shop in downtown Asheville.
The film crew and equipment was spotted outside of Antidote, a cocktail bar located on Coxe Avenue.
"A Biltmore Christmas" is a Hallmark production of a love story that has mostly been filmed at the Biltmore Estate.
It takes place when a screenwriter is magically transported back to the 1940s.
Movie crews were back in action Friday at Hendersonville's Historic Train Depot, shooting scenes for the film.
Friday's shoot attracted fans who wanted to see some of that movie magic happen in real time.
"We're big Hallmark fans, and we just love their movies," said Patricia White, of Hendersonville. "It's a thrill to have something like this happen in Hendersonville."
"I've been a Hallmark fan for as long as I can remember, and being here, in town, is something I've always dreamed of and to get a chance to see it," said Molly McDonald, of Hendersonville. "I've never seen one filmed before -- it's amazing!"
"Biltmore Christmas" is scheduled to premier in December on the Hallmark Channel, and both of the women who spoke with News 13 said they can't wait to see it.
The film is expected to air on the Hallmark channel in November 2023.
