A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a fatal Hanover shooting that happened Wednesday, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Police said the shooting happened around 9 p.m. in the Ridgeview Plaza Shopping Center in the 2600 block of Annapolis Road.
When officer arrived to the scene, police said they found 26-year-old Markus Nocho suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Nocho was taken to a R. Adams Cowley Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Nocho was a Marine Corps veteran, according to a friend of the family.
Through their investigation, police said homicide detectives were able to identify 34-year-old Alexander Williams as the suspect.
On Friday, Jan. 27, Williams was arrested and charged accordingly, police said.
