Retirement farewell celebration for Tim Pinkerton; Monday, Jan. 30

First State Bank in Nashville will host a retirement party for their Senior Vice President, Timothy Wade Pinkerton on Monday, January 30th from 10 am to 3 pm in the bank lobby.

Pinkerton served in the banking industry for the past 38 years and at First State Bank of Nashville for the past 13 years. Pinkerton graduated from Henderson State University in 1982, but he hadn’t planned to go into banking.

Pinkerton has served on multiple boards of directors, including UA Cossatot, Howard County Children’s Center and Howard Memorial Hospital. He is also a Rotarian, the chamber of commerce and the Bread of Life Food Bank.

Pinkerton said he has made lots of friends throughout the area and he will cherish those friendships for the rest of his life.

Pinkerton was named the Nashville Chamber of the Commerce Man of the Year in 2018 and starting at the end of February, he will begin serving as the executive director of the chamber.

Pinkerton also expressed his appreciation to everyone and invited them to stop by First State Bank in Nashville on Monday, January 30th between 10 am and 3 pm to celebrate his retirement.
