JOYCE: KRISTIN PIERCE REPORTING FROM MILWAUKEE TONIGHT. THE DRIVER IN A DEADLY CRASH AT A HOP STATION IN MILWAUKEE NOW ACCUSED OF DRINKING ALCOHOL AND SMOKING MARJUANA BEFORE GETTING BEHIND THE WHEEL. THE CRASH HAPPENED AT MILWAUKEE STREET AND WISCONSIN AVENUE BACK IN JULY. INVETIGATORS SAY KIMBERLY WILLIAMS WAS DRIVING WHEN SHE CRASHED INTO THE HOP GUARDRAIL. THE POLE WENT THROUGH THE CAR, KILLING THE PASSENGER IN THE CAR, LATOYA EILAND. 12 NEWS NOW OBTAINING THE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT. IT SAYS WILLIAMS TOLD POLICE IT HAPPENED AFTER ANOTHER CAR TRIED TO PASS THEM. HOWEVER, PROSECUTORS SAY VIDEO OF THE INTERSECTION SHOWS NO CARS AROUND HER WHEN THE CRASH HAPPENED. The driver in a fatal crash at a Hop station in Milwaukee is now accused of drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana before getting behind the wheel. The crash happened at Milwaukee Street and Wisconsin Avenue back in July.Investigators said Kimberly Williams was driving when she crashed into the Hop guardrail. The pole went through the car, killing the passenger in the car — Latoya Eiland.The criminal complaint says Williams told police it happened after another car tried to pass them. Investigators said Kimberly Williams was driving when she crashed into the Hop guardrail.
