All streets surrounding the FBI headquarters in Kapolei are back open tonight after Federal agents and Honolulu police responded this afternoon to a suspicious package threat.

KAPOLEI, Hawaii (KITV4) -- A suspicious item left outside of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Honolulu Division headquarters prompted a bomb scare on Thursday.

Federal agents and Honolulu police officers were called out to investigate a suspicious package outside of the FBI Honolulu HQ in Kapolei around 2:15 p.m. HPD bomb techs were eventually called to the scene.
