Max, the dog found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the east side of town earlier this month, was just adopted by his foster family.
The Animal Foundation shared the news Thursday, saying that his wounds have fully healed, and he has been recovering fantastically thanks to the family.
The family also says Max gets along well with his new fur siblings and has been renamed Logan.
The dog was brought to The Animal Foundation for urgent life-saving medical care.
He underwent multiple surgeries and daily wound cleaning, but staff says he stayed loving and kind the whole time.
