House of the Dragon star Paddy Considine and Aladdin's Mena Massoud are set to team up for a new boxing drama.
The pair will star in Giant, which tells the real-life story of Prince Naseem 'Naz' Hamed, a British Yemeni boxing champion who was known for his unorthodox and flamboyant style, and held numerous featherweight titles in the late 1990s.
Massoud will play Naz, while Considine is set to portray his trainer Brendan Ingle, who discovered the boxer, with the movie documenting his rags-to-riches rise as the child of working class Yemeni immigrants in Yorkshire to superstar.

Gangs of London's Rowan Athale will write and direct Giant, while Rocky and Creed's Sylvester Stallone is on board as an executive producer.
“I have wanted to bring this movie to screen for many years,” Athale said. “The story of fabled boxing trainer Brendan Ingle and his tempestuous relationship with protégé 'Prince' Naseem is both legendary and truly cinematic.

Massoud famously played Aladdin in Disney's live-action remake of the classic animation, while Considine recently appeared as King Viserys Targaryen in season one of Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon.
Giant has yet to confirm a release date. House of the Dragon airs on HBO in the US and on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK. Season 2 has been confirmed. Game of Thrones seasons 1-8 are available on DVD and Blu-ray.
