LESSONS LEARNED
Winnipeg learned a valuable lesson from the last time they faced the Buffalo Sabres this season and that is, if they decide to just trade scoring chances with Buffalo, that will be a problem. The Jets played a solid 40 minutes in Buffalo earlier this month, but the Sabres took over in the third period and if not for Connor Hellebuyck, they wouldn't have escaped with two points. Winnipeg will have to be careful with their puck management and play solid team defence and the scoring chances will come from that.

SABRES SOLID ROAD TEAM
Since Nov. 22, Buffalo has gone 11-2-1 in away games and is ranked second in points percentage (.821) in that span among all NHL teams. Buffalo is currently scoring 3.82 goals per game on the road this season, which would rank second all-time in Sabres franchise history for the most goals scored per game on the road in a single season, trailing just the 1974-75 Sabres (3.88 goals per road game played).
PLD LINE PRODUCING
Rick Bowness will go with the exact same lineup as he went with in Nashville tonight. The Jets coach has liked the amount of offence the top six forward group has provided as of late. The Pierre-Luc Dubois, Kyle Connor and Cole Perfetti unit scored the team's only goal on Tuesday and produced 12 total scoring chances at 5-on-5. In fact, they also produced the most scoring chances in the win over Philadelphia last Sunday.
