Frank Reich has found a new job. And the Carolina Panthers have found their new head coach.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported Thursday that the Panthers have hired Reich as their next head coach.

Carolina fired former head coach Matt Rhule in October after the team fell to a 1-4 record. He was replaced by interim head coach Steve Wilks.
In his fifth year as head coach, the Indianapolis Colts fired Reich in November. He went 40-33-1 in five seasons as Colts head coach.

Before that, he was the offensive coordinator of the Eagles and helped Philadelphia beat the New England Patriots, 41-33, in Super Bowl LII with Nick Foles at quarterback.
CBS’s Jonathan Jones: Reich was the Colts head coach for 4-plus seasons. He was on the inaugural Panthers team as a QB in 1995. He becomes the sixth head coach in team history.
Rapoport: Steve Wilks got a second interview and did a very nice job on the field and in his interviews. Interestingly, Kellen Moore really, really stood out in this process. The #Cowboys OC made this a very tough decision.
