THE COMMUNITY OVEN IN HAMPTON AND EPPING, COOKING PIZZAS. AND MIXING THEIR NEW YEAR, NEW ME MOCKTAIL. >> A LITTLE BIT OF PINEAPPLE JUICE, NOT TOO MUCH. AND WE’RE GOING TO GO IN WITH A SQUIRT OF CRAN. OUR TOUR TAKES US TO THE NEW ENGLAND TAP HOUSE IN HOOKSETT, SPICING UP THIS MOCKTAIL TRAIL WITH THEIR DRINK, JALAPENO BUSINESS. >> THEY JUST WANT TO HAVE SOMETHING THAT’S GOT A LITTLE MORE PUNCH. A LITTLE BIT OF CLUB SODA. PUT A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE FRESH PIECE OF JALAPENO TO DRESS IT UP . AND VOILA, WHAT WE CALL JALAPENO BUSINESS. ♪ JEAN: ON TO THE COMMON MAN. OK LET’S SEE WHAT MOCKTAIL KAYLA IS MAKING TODAY. >> TODAY WE’RE MAKING THE SPARKLING CRANBERRY APPLE CIDER. JEAN: IT SOUNDS GREAT. >> SO GOOD. SO WE START WITH 3 OUNCES OF CRANBERRY JUICE BUILT ON ICE. THEN WE DO ONE OUNCE OF THE COMMON MAN OLD FASHIONED APPLE GROG. FRESH SQUEEZED LEMON. ♪ TOP IT WITH A LITTLE BIT OF SODA WATER TO GIVE IT SPARKLE. JEAN: IT’S BEAUTIFUL. A BUBBLY CRANBERRY MOCKTAIL WITH AN AUTUMN APPLE TWIST IN A SUGAR-RIMMED FLUTE. AND IT GOES GREAT WITH CREME BRULEE. CHEERS. ♪ LAST STOP, AT THE CROWN TAVERN IN MANCHESTER, IT’S LIGHTS, CAMERA, MOCKTAIL. >> THE CROWN TAVERN FROM THE EARLY 20’S TO THE MID 60’S WAS A MOVIE THEATER. OUR MARQUEE IS ACTUALLY A REPLICA OF THE ORIGINAL MARQUEE. ALL OF OUR COCKTAILS AND MOCKTAILS ARE NAMED AFTER MOVIES. JEAN: IN THE MOVIE THEME, LET’S MAKE SOME DRAMA. LET’S MAKE OUR MOCKTAIL. >> SOUNDS GOOD. TODAY WE ARE GOING TO MAKE MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL. WE’RE GOING TO START OFF WITH BLACKBERRY SYRUP. AN OUNCE OF BLACKBERRY SYRUP. THEN WE ARE GOING TO USE SOME FRESH LEMON JUICE, ABOUT AN OUNCE OF THAT. WE’RE GOING TO USE HOUSEMADE LEMONADE. GIVE IT A NICE GOOD SHAKE. WE’VE SEEN AN INCREASE IN MOCKTAILS, WE’VE SEEN AN INCREASE IN NON-ALCOHOLIC BEER. AND THEN WE ARE GOING TO TAKE SOME GINGER BEER. I RECOMMEND A LESS SPICY GINGER BEER. TOP IT WITH GINGER BEER, GIVE IT A LITTLE BIT OF ZING AND THEN MIX IT UP A LITTLE BIT JUST TO MAKE IT PRETTY. THROW ON A LITTLE LEMON WHEEL AND THERE YOU GO.
