According to Skook News, Superintendent Shawn Fitpatrick says parents were notified of the incident around 11:30 AM.
He says the district was notified by Schuylkill County Emergency Management that a foot pursuit was happening nearby, so the school went on a precautionary administrative lockdown until the situation was resolved.
All activity inside the school remained the same.
