HANOVER, Md. — Police have arrested a suspect linked to a deadly shooting at a shopping center in Hanover.
Shots rang out around 9pm Wednesday at the Ridgeview Plaza Shopping Center on Annapolis Road.
On scene police found 26-year-old Markus Nocho, of Odenton, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Charging documents reveal Nocho met with the suspect driving a black Honda Crosstour moments before being shot. Following the shooting, the same vehicle fled the scene.
He later died at Shock Trauma. Detectives have since arrested and charged 34-year-old Alexander Vaughan Williams, of Severn.
Williams was hit with numerous charges like first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Detectives determined Williams was connected to several shootings in the area docs say.
He was arrested on an open arrest warrant for a separate shooting case.
Police released no information on a potential motive.
