"We are going to have a 'Musical At the Museum," she said. "We are having out 82nd show featured at the New England Carousel Museum."
In past years, the OM Show was often held at St. Paul Catholic High School.
Morgan Urgo, executive director of the New England Carousel Museum, said that it will be a "great opportunity" to partner with the OM Keystone Association, who have done "such great work for so long" fundraising for the local Boys & Girls Club of Bristol.
"They had been working with us during covid," said Urgo. "They recorded several dance numbers in our ball room and Greek museum for past, virtual shows. This year, they are doing a cabaret-style show and approached me about having it here it at the museum. It seems like it is going to be a lot of fun. We're glad to have this opportunity to host the OM sHOW in our lovely space here at the museum."
Gonyea also described this year's show's theme as a "Broadway Dinner show."
"We will be showcasing Broadway numbers from a variety of recent shows," said Gonyea. "This was what the original show pre-covid was supposed to be prior to getting cancelled."
The OM Show will be held April 14 and 15 with one show each night that Friday and Saturday. The ticket prices will include dinner and the show.
Tickets, Gonyea said, will go on sale to the public starting Feb. 1st.
The OM Show is the longest running variety show in the country as well as the largest fundraiser of the year for the OM Keystone Association of the Boys and Girls Club of Bristol. The OM Keystone Association has been providing support to the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol for more than 100 years.
