Both Gopher squads will take on host-Northwestern and Purdue, while the women will also face off with Iowa.

Friday's schedule begins at 5 p.m. The event schedule for the opening day consists of the 200 medley relay, 1000 free, 200 free, 100 back, 100 breast, 200 fly, 50 free, 200 IM, 800 free relay, men's 1-meter diving and women's 3-meter diving.

Saturday's action begins at 11 a.m. with the 200 free relay, 400 IM, 100 free, 200 back, 100 fly, 500 free, 200 breast, 400 free relay, women's 1-meter and men's 3-meter.

Live results will be available on the Meet Mobile app (subscription required).

The Minnesota women enter the meet 6-1 in duals this year (2-1 B1G), including a 218-82 victory over Iowa in November. The Gopher men are 4-1 in dual meets, though 0-1 in Big Ten action following a loss at Wisconsin in early November.

Junior Megan Van Berkom has logged 'B' cuts in a team-best four events this year, posting top times on the squad in the 500 free (4:44.60), 200 fly (1:55.38), 200 IM (1:57.00) and 400 IM (4:05.81).

Van Berkom is one of six Gophers to hold top times/scores in multiple events this year. Joining her are seniors Emma Lezer (100 and 200 breast; both 'B' cuts) and Joy Zhu (1 and 3M diving; both qualifying marks),  junior Paula Rodriguez Rivero (100 and 200 back; both 'B' cuts) and sophomores Hannah Cornish (50, 100 and 200 free; all 'B' cuts) and Eliot Kennedy (1000 and 1650 free).

Freshmen Vivi Del Angel (platform diving) and Ava Yablonski (100 fly) also own top times/scores on the team.

The Gopher men have been led this year by junior Kaiser Neverman, who owns the top time in a team-best four events. At the 2022 Minnesota Invite, Neverman broke school records in both the 200 fly (1:42.96) and 200 IM (1:43.91). Those marks, along with the 100 fly (46.40), are all 'B' cuts, and he's also got the top time in the 50 free (19.88).

Neverman is one of five Gopher men to have the top time/score in multiple events this year.

Fifth-year senior Max McHugh has posted 'B' cuts in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke, while fellow team captain Desmon Sachtjen can say the same for the backstroke events. In distance free, sophomore Bar Soloveychik lays claim to the fastest times in the 500 and 1000 free.

Juniors William Christenson (400 IM), Lucas Farrar (100 free) and Chris Nagy (1650 free), and sophomore Chris Morris (200 free) also own top times/scores on the team.

The Northwestern women are receiving votes in the latest CSCAA Poll and 6-1 overall in dual meets this year, including 2-1 in the Big Ten. The Wildcat men are 3-2 with an 0-2 mark in the conference.

The Purdue women are 2-3 in duals (1-2 B1G), while the Boilermaker men are 1-3 (0-2 B1G), and the Iowa women are 1-4-1 overall and 0-3 in the Big Ten.
