EAST HARTFORD, CONN. (WTIC Radio)-A Hartford teenager faces a manslaughter chargein the death of a 17-year old January ninth, police said.
Police responded to Westbrook Street on a report of someone being shot. A 17-year old victim was pronounced deceased. Police said multiple occupants were involved and fled in a white Toyota Avalon. Police viewed footage of the suspect vehicle through the town's camera system. A 15-year old gave police a confession, but they determined he wasn't the shooter.
An arrest warrant was obtained, charging Jahki Clarke, 19, of Hartford.
He faces manslaughter in the first, tampering and weapons charges.
He's being held on 750-thousand dollar court-set bond.
