Drew Barrymore Reveals Her Preferred Sleeping Style on ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’: “I Don’t Wear Underwear”

Every day we learn a little bit more about Drew Barrymore, and today’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show was no different. The actress-turned-talk show host revealed what she prefers to wear to bed — or, better yet, what she doesn’t wear to bed. The conversation came up as Barrymore and Ross Mathews tackled this morning’s slate of headlines, which included a TikTok in which a woman admitted that she hadn’t washed her pajamas in three days, despite wearing them to sleep every night. “This might surprise you but I’m fine with it,” Mathews, who was previously repulsed by Barrymore revealing that she eats in bed, told the audience. “I know I’m pretty uptight about germy things usually, but if it’s not touching your privates, it’s not touching your feet, it’s not touching strangers on a street, you can wear it three nights in a row.” Barrymore added, “OK, well that was gonna be my question: is she wearing underwear or not? That changes everything, right?” to which Mathews replied, “That changes everything.” When the host, who pointed out that the woman never disclosed whether she was wearing undies, admitted, “I don’t wear underwear when I sleep,” the audience cheered her on, leading her to clear some things up. She joked, “You should see what I’m sleeping in, you won’t whoop. It’s sad.” However, Mathews told the room that he does, in fact, wear underwear to bed, before quipping, “I’m naked and afraid of seeing myself naked.” “Not with those legs, Mathews! Not with those legs!” the 50 First Dates star assured her co-host. In the end, Barrymore concluded, “No underwear, you should wash it. Some underwear, who cares?
