YOU HAVE A GUY THAT COMES OUT EVERY WEEKEND. AND YOU TELL ME A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE MILWAUKEE MUSEUM DAYS AND WHY THIS IS SUCH A GREAT EVENT FOR KIDS? >> THE MILWAUKEE MUSEUM DAYS STARTED LAST WEEK IS GOING THROUGH THE END OF THIS WEEKEND TO THE 29TH AND ITS DISCOUNTED ADMISSION FOR PEOPLE TO ENJOY THESE LOCAL DESTINATIONS. I RECOMMEND HAVING TO DISCOVERY WORLD WITH KIDS. THEY DO NOT OFTEN REDUCE THEIR ADMISSION SO THIS IS A SPECIAL THING. I ALSO RECOMMEND THE ART MUSEUM. KIDS ARE ALWAYS FREE AT THE ART MUSEUM BUT THEY’RE REDUCING ADMISSION FOR ADULTS AND THEY HAVE STORYTIME IN THE GALLERIESSATURDAY MORNINGS. KIDS CAN GO ON THE GALLERIES, DRAW PICTURES AND HEAR STORIES AND IT’S REALLY COOL COLLECTIVITY. MALLORY: I SUPERFINE, SNOW HAS FINALLY RETURNED TO MILWAUKEE AND SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN, JUST IN TIME FOR A COUPLE OF WINTER FESTIVALS HAPPENING THIS WEEKEND. >> THANK GOODNESS! THE LINDEN SCULPTURE GARDEN ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES DOES AN ARTS FOCUSED FESTIVAL WHERE YOU CAN DO SOMETIMES THE PAIN THE POND OF THE POND IS FROZEN, THEY DO TREE WALKS. IT’S AN AMAZING PLACE TO GO IN THE SCULPTURE GARDEN IF YOU HAVEN’T BEEN. BOERNER BOTANICAL GARDENS, WHICH IN NICER WEATHER IS BLOOMING WITH PLANTS, BUT THEY ALSO DO THIS WINTER FESTIVAL WHERE YOU CAN TAKE NATURE WALKS AND MAKE SUGAR ICE SCULPTURES, DO ARTS AND CRAFTS AND LEARN ABOUT THE GARDEN IN THE WINTER. MALLORY: I KNOW FOR SOME PARENTS MAY BE A WARM COFFEE SHOP IS MORE YOUR SPEED. THERE IS SOMETHING HAPPENING THAT OPEN TO THE KIDS TO. >> THAT’S MORE OF MY VIBE, TOO. AT ANYTHING COFFEE THEY DO THESE MONTHLY FREE MORE OR LESS FREE CONCERT BY FOX AND BRANCH. FOX AND BRANCHES IS A FOLK DUO VERY FUN. THERE CONCERTS ARE VERY AUDIENCE PRECIPITATION, REALLY FUN AND LIVELY. THE FREE CONCERT, OBVIOUSLY REALLY FUNNY CAN ENJOY THE WARM COFFEE AND TREATS OR WHATEVER’S THERE.

If you're looking for something to do with the kids, look no further. There are discounted museum visits, winter festivals, and folk music concerts all happening this weekend for families in the Milwaukee area. WISN 12 News talked to the team at "Milwaukee with Kids" about their top recommended events.Milwaukee Museum Days"The Milwaukee Museum days actually it started last week, and it's going through the end of this weekend, through the 29th," Calie Herbst, founder of Milwaukee with Kids, said. "It's basically just discounted admission for people to enjoy these local destinations. I recommend heading to Discovery World with kids. They don't often reduce their admission. So this is kind of a special thing. I also recommend the art museum. Kids are actually always free at the art museum, but they are reducing admission for adults. They have storytime in the galleries on Saturday mornings, so kids can go in the galleries and draw pictures and hear a story. It's really a cool activity.Winter Carnival at Lynden Sculpture Garden & Winterfest at Boerner Botanical Gardens"Lynden Sculpture Garden, one of my favorite places, they do like sort of an arts-focused festival where you can paint the pond, if the pond is frozen, and they do tree walks," Herbst said. "It's an amazing place to go, the Sculpture Garden, if you haven't been there before. Then Boerner Botanical Gardens, which obviously in nicer weather is blooming with plants, they also do this winter festival where you can take nature walks and make sugar ice sculptures and do arts and crafts while learning about the garden in the winter."Fox & Branch Family Folk Music Concert at Anodyne Coffee"At Anodyne Coffee, they do these monthly, more or less, free concerts by Fox and Branch," Herbst said. "Fox and Branch is this folk duo; they're so much fun. Their concerts have a lot of audience participation, really fun and lively. It's a free concert. Obviously, you can enjoy the warm coffee, bagels, and treats, or whatever is there.
