IT FEELS LIKE FIVE DEGREES. NEGATIVE EIGHT, TRENTON. FOUR, LEE’S SUMMIT AND LEVENS -- AND 11 IN LAWRENCEBURG. THE KIDS ARE BUNDLED UP AT THE BUS STOP. DO NOT FORGET YOUR SUNGLASSES. WE WILL HAVE A LOT OF SUNSHINE. IT WILL REMAIN COLD AND WE WILL NOT MAKE IT ABOVE FREEZING. A HIGH OF 30 DEGREES IN KANSAS CITY, 34, BUTLER AND IN THE 20’S ALONG AND NORTH OF 36 HIGHWAY. A HIGH OF 27 DEGREES. OVERNIGHT INTO TOMORROW MORNING, WE MIGHT GET A QUICK SHOT OF LIGHT SNOW SWEEPING IN. ESPECIALLY NORTH OF I-70. BUT WE COULD SEE THE FLAKES AS FAR SOUTH AS KANSAS CITY. AS WE LOOK AT THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, NO CHANCE OF SNOW AND IT WILL BE ARCTIC AIR THAT ARRIVES WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE TEENS FOR TAILGATING. Much colder today with scattered clouds and sunshine. Blustery. High 30. Noticeably warmer Friday and blustery. Mostly sunny. High 49. Becoming cloudy Saturday with a chance of light rain showers late in the day possibly mixing with light snow showers overnight. Arctic blast arrives Sunday morning with lows in the single digits and teens. Wind chills will remain in the single digits through the day under a cloudy sky and strong north winds. High 22. Well-below normal temperatures will hold through much of next week with lows in the single digits and teens and highs in the 20s. Another chance of snow on Tuesday.
