Dog Reportedly Dies in Fortuna Trailer Fire

About 8:45 p.m., a fire broke out in an older single-wide trailer in the 3200 block of Trinity Street near the intersection with Weber Street.

According to social media reports, a beloved pet, a dog, died in the fire, but the resident was not injured.

Emergency personnel shut down Trinity Street to fight the fire. The fire is now out.

So sorry for the loss of their fur baby, trailer fires are just horrible. I had 1 in 2019, lost almost everything.

Some of the worst fires we respond to. Most are usually totally involved by the time we arrive. They burn so fast and hot. Helpless feeling and so sad for the residents.
