Toledo Opera and Toledo Spirits are set to host “Get Into the Spirit of Opera” on Jan. 31, 2023.

The showcase will shine a spotlight on the opera company’s upcoming production of “The Merry Widow.”

“Toledo Opera is excited to be producing this comedic operetta – the first comedy we’ve produced since before the COVID-19 pandemic. We are especially happy to be celebrating this effervescent story with our friends at Toledo Spirits; there is nothing like camaraderie to lift the spirits of a community” said Suzanne Rorick, executive director of the opera company, in an official press statement.

“We are just as excited to be able to experience their world class talent along with outstanding cocktails here at our cocktail bar Bellwether,” added Andrew Newby, CEO of Toledo Spirits.

“The Merry Widow” is set for performances on Feb. 10 and 12, 2023.
