Although the Oregon State Men's basketball team only has eight wins this season the Beavers were thrilled to get their first Pac-12 Road win of the season this past weekend against Cal.
But there is still lots of improvement to be made on this young Oregon State team going into the second half of the conference season.
And now that the Beavers have seen every team once they are confident, they can come back a second time and get a few more wins.
"They never come back the next day not ready to work, you know, so that lends us to understand they do really have a legitimate concern and interest for what we're doing and a hunger for it, but at times it can turn your hair gray a little bit, but they're having fun and they're working hard every day and that's all we can ask for and they keep the making the right steps in improvements and we know we're going to get this thing going in the right direction," said head coach Wayne Tinkle.
The Beavers start the second half of conference play on Thursday at home against Utah.
