Police Following Leads In Connection To Dec. Shooting Inside OKC Farmer's Market

Investigators are following leads on a shooter who left four people injured at the downtown Oklahoma City Farmer's Market last month. The event center was packed at the time with concertgoers, police said some of the visitors were teenagers.

Police are working to identify and track down the shooter and anyone else connected to chaos that sent innocent bystanders to the hospital.

Gunshots rang out on December 18th inside the crowded downtown event center. Some witnesses told police the shooting stemmed from a fight near the event center's bathrooms. 

When officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Sydney Miller inside the building. One of the officers can be seen in body camera video interacting with the victim.

Victim: “Five seconds later I wouldn’t have been shot.”

Witness: “Sydney, Sydney, Sydney look at me.” 

Miller appeared to be shot in the leg.

Officer: “EMSA is coming inside right now.”

Another female victim collapsed outside. A group surrounded the woman until police could help.

Officer: “Any of you all hit?”

Witness: “Somebody got shot right here.”

Witness: “She’s right here. She’s not even moving or nothing.”

Two men were also taken to the hospital. One of the victims left in critical condition with a gunshot injury to the neck. At the time, none of the witnesses saw the shooter and no arrests were made.
