The city of Des Moines will pay to $45,000 to settle a lawsuit against the police department.The city council approved the settlement Monday in a four-year-long dispute with Dejuan Haynes.Haynes sued the city in 2018 after police pulled him over and put him in handcuffs. The city of Des Moines will pay to $45,000 to settle a lawsuit against the police department.
