Marina police arrested one person and seized a handgun, ghost assault rifle, ammunition and high-capacity magazines at a home on Owen Avenue, investigators said.According to police, they were initially aware of an incident related to a suspected felony child abuse and child endangerment at the home, which led detectives to serve a search warrant at about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.During the search, police said their K9 Riley alerted officers to an unsecured handgun, ammunition and a ghost assault rifle that was hidden in the home and unlawfully possessed.Police arrested Joseph Ordaz-Hoang, 32, and booked him into the Monterey County Jail. Investigators said Ordaz-Hoang faces multiple charges including child abuse, child endangerment, unlawful possession of an assault weapon and criminal storage of a firearm. Hoang's bail was set at $50,000.
