A Roseburg man was arrested on burglary and theft charges after breaking into a Douglas County business, police said.
According to a Roseburg Police Department report, officers responded to the business at 1847 NE Diamond Lake Blvd. for a forced burglary that occurred before 6 a.m. Wednesday.
"The drive thru window was shattered and the cash register and lottery tickets were taken from within the store," RPD stated.
The officer watched footage of the incident and the suspect "was a male wearing lime green hoody, dark blue jacket, and pants," the report said.
The suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Daniel Scott Comes, was riding a bicycle and used a pipe to break the window, RPD added.
After Comes was developed as a suspect, he was contacted near a dumpster at the Purple Parrot.
Comes was interviewed then placed under arrest and transported to the county corrections facility.
He was charged with Burglary II, Theft II, and Criminal Mischief II.
