Chehalis Historic Preservation Commission Vacancy

The City of Chehalis is looking to fill a vacancy on its Historic Preservation Commission, according to a news release.

Seven members make up the commission and serve without compensation, generally for three-year terms. The commission’s duties include providing identification, enhancement, perpetuation and use of historic resources within Chehalis. 

To apply, fill out the form found online at https://www.ci.chehalis.wa.us/bc-hpc/historic-preservation-commission-vacancy and submit it at Chehalis City Hall. Contact the city clerk’s office at 360-345-1042 if assistance is needed to download the application. 



Applicants must be Chehalis residents, but residency exceptions can be made depending on qualifications. Questions can be directed to Chehalis Community Development Director Tammy Baraconi at 360–345-2227.
