The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office arrested a suspected kidnapper and rescued the victim Tuesday evening.
On Jan. 24, deputies responded to a call on East 61st Street North.
The victim's roommate told deputies that 33-year-old Jace Lee McKittrick had beaten his girlfriend and allegedly held a knife to her throat.
The other male roommates attempted to stop him but were also threatened, according to TCSO.
The victim stated that she attempted to run away from McKittrick but he chased her down and allegedly forced her into a vehicle where he continued to attack her.
After collecting information, deputies found that McKittrick was heading to a location near Turley.
TCSO waited for him to arrive, rescued the victim, and arrested the suspect.
McKittrick was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon after a former conviction of a felony and kidnapping AFCF.
