“We’re letting the legal process take care of itself, so if he’s healthy, he’ll play this week,” head coach Kyle Shanahan said, per Inman. “We’ve looked into it the last 48 hours, not only himself but other people. We don’t feel we should kick him off our team at this time.”

The Monday report states that police arrived to the scene at 4:39 p.m. PT in response to a call from Omenihu’s girlfriend. She reported that Omenihu pushed her to the ground during an argument. Officers did not observe any physical injuries but she said she had pain in her arm. The woman declined medical attention.

Omenihu was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for misdemeanor domestic violence, he has since posted bail and is no longer in custody. The case will be submitted to the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office for possible charges.
