Port Washington’s ambulance service got a boost on March 7 when three full-time firefighter/paramedics, along with Deputy Firre Chief Joe DeBoer, were sworn into office by City Clerk Susan Westerbeke. Taking the oath of office were (from left) DeBoer, Cameron Karsteadt, Samuel Lorge and Dylan Dodson. She was a 1960 graduate of North High School in Sheboygan. Nancy furthered her education by attending Holy Family School of Nursing in Manitowoc and then earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from the Universtiy of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 1985.
