Should M&M's keep their carton mascots?

We've probably all seen the M and M's candy characters on a commerical at some point. However On Monday, the maker of M&M’s candies announced that it was sidelining its roster of cartoon mascots, just a year after changing their look. It was a move that made them “more inclusive” according parent company Mars. Fox News host Tucker Carlson led the criciticsm of the transformation of the “spokescandies,” devoting several segments of his show to complaints about the new “woke M&M’s.” The move seems to a bit much to me and is an example of corporate America's overreach to cave into the call for woke ideology.
